Born in New Zealand and having grown up in Western Australia,
Denson is an award winning cinematographer of
international feature films, music videos, documentaries &
commercials, who has worked around the world including Europe, the
US, India, Australia and New Zealand.
Denson was accredited by the Australian Cinematographers Society in 2005 and
in 2015 he was accredited by the New Zealand Cinematographers
Society.
Denson's feature film work includes acclaimed films
such as The Black Balloon, Oranges and Sunshine, The Waiting City, and The Dark Horse starring Cliff Curtis.
Denson's more recent feature films include the
coming of age tale Measure of a Man for
Jim Loach and the Shakespeare-inspired Ophelia for Claire McCarthy.
