Nicholas Britell - Pianist, Composer, & Producer - Gimme The Loot, 12 Years A Slave, Whiplash, The Big Short, A Tale Of Love And Darkness, and The Seventh Fire

Nicholas has scored for several feature films including Gimme The Loot, 12 Years A Slave, The Big Short, A Tale Of Love And Darkness, and The Seventh Fire.

Nicholas was involved as a producer for both the short and feature film version of the acclaimed film Whiplash, for which he also wrote and produced pieces for the soundtrack.

In addition to his film work, Nicholas is a Founding Member of L.A. Dance Project and is a Board member of the New York-based ensemble Decoda, and the multimedia production company and artists collective The Amoveo Company.

Richard van Oosterhout - Belgian based Cinematographer - Rosie, Wolfsbergen, Nowhere Man, Little Black Spiders, and Love & Friendship

Richard moved to filmmaking, first as Production Designer, later Key Grip, Camera Assistant, and finally as a Cinematographer.

Richard has shot over 25 feature films, usually European co-productions, both arthouse and more mainstream productions. His breakthrough came with the multi award-winning feature, Rosie.

Richard's film work over the years included: Guernsey, Wolfsbergen, Nowhere Man, Little Black Spiders, Farewell To Fools, and Love & Friendship

Richard is president of the NSC and a member of the SBC and the EFA. Additionally, he is the initiator and co-editor of a book on contemporary cinematography called, Shooting Time.

Anna's television drama work includes A Dangerous Fortune for ZDF, Foyle's War for ITV and George Gently for the BBC.


Anna's work as art director has included projects like Neil Jordan's award winning film The Butcher Boy and more recently on King Arthur for director Antoine Fuqua.

Anna's work as production designer has included films like Ondine and Stella Days, both of which won her Irish Film & Television Awards, and most recently Whit Stillman's film, Love & Friendship.

Lucien Harriot - Visual Effects Supervisor - Bamboozled, Last Stand of the 300, American Ultra, and Life, Animated

Lucien has been developing computer graphics and effects techniques over the past 25 years and is as comfortable leading production in the studio with a team of computer artists as he is on the set of feature films.

Over the past 20 years, Lucien via Mechanism Digital have produced thousands of 3D animations and visual effects for premiere network programming, television commercials and feature films.

Some of Lucien's projects include Spike Lee's film, Bamboozled, Last Stand of the 300, American Ultra, and Life, Animated.

Mechanism Digital has also recently teamed up with the New York Times to add graphics and maps to their virtual reality stories.

Art Pierce - Executive Director at Capitol Theatre - Home of Capitolfest, a silent & early film festival

Art has been the executive director of the Capitol Theatre since 2004 and the 1728 seat theatre began back in 1928.

Capitol Theatre regularly screens archival 35mm prints of classic films with carbon arc projection and silent films with live theatre organ accompaniment with their original installation organ from 1928.  They have full pit orchestra used for SummerStage musical theater productions. In addition, they have a 52-seat Cinema Capitol, known for a wide mix of independent and international film favorites.

Capitol Theatre is home to the Capitolfest, Central New York's premier summer cinephile film festival held in August. It is a place to see rarely-shown and newly-discovered films of the silent and early talkie era, starting on late Friday morning and ending early on Sunday evening.

The philosophy of Capitolfest is that there should be time to savor the films, thus their slogan, “A vacation, not a marathon.”

Avy, based in NYC, has cast dozens of films since starting in the industry in the late 1980s.

She has worked with many acclaimed directors including: Ang Lee, Steven Spielberg, Lars von Trier, Ira Sachs, and James Ponsoldt.

Avy's casting credits over the years include: The Sixth Sense, Life of Pi, Lincoln, Dogville, Smashed, The Skeleton Twins, Europa Report, and Shame.

Some of her more recent projects include: A Bigger Splash, Money Monster, and The End of The Tour, as well as The Circle and Little Men.

Dylan Reeve - New Zealand based Director and Editor - Tickled

With a background in graphic design, marketing, web development and IT, Dylan has worked as a television editor and post-production supervisor.

Dylan currently works as Head of Post-Production on the New Zealand serial drama Shortland Street, producing 250 half-hour episodes of scripted drama in 49 weeks each year.

Dylan has recently partnered with David Farrier to co-direct the feature documentary film, Tickled.

Tickled is a disturbing tale of what seems at first glance to be a silly subculture, but reveals something far more sinister underneath.

Tickled has been nominated for awards at several film festivals and is currently screening around the US and worldwide.
