After Graduating from the Louis Lumière Cinematography School, Emmanuel started very quickly to work as a director of photography on shorts, feature films, and advertising.

Emmanuel is currently based in Paris, and shares his time shooting features and commercials.  Emmanuel usually works in Japan, Lebanon, Ukraine, France, UAE and Africa.

Emmanuel’s feature film work includes: The Old Dream That Moves, Farewell Homeland, Grande Ecole, and Melodrama Habibi

Emmanuel has worked films for director Lorraine Levy including: The First Time I Turned Twenty and The Other Son.

Andrew is best known for working as a production designer internationally on the many feature films that he has made for over 25 years.

Andrew has worked on films such as Sid and Nancy for Alex Cox, Stormy Monday for Mike Figgis, The Piano for Jane Campion for which he won an AFI and BAFTA award, and Clockers for Spike Lee

Andrew's more recent production design work over the years includes: The Reckoning, Dean Spanley, An Education, Made in Dagenham, Love Birds, Quartet, and the upcoming Half A Yellow Sun.

Ron works as an editor, which he has done professionally for over a decade, and has experience as a shooter, editor, producer, sound designer, and colorist.

Ron is New York based and has worked on everything from feature films and documentaries to commercials, television series, and music videos as well as short films and experimental art. Ron's documentaries include: Fade to Black, B.I.K.E., and Bon Jovi: When We Were Beautiful

Ron has edited feature films appearing in the Cannes, Sundance, Tribeca and Toronto film festivals, most notably Blue Valentine and The Place Beyond The Pines, directed by Derek Cianfrance

Leslie gained an Emmy nomination for the TV pilot to the David Lynch’s series' Twin Peaks and also worked on the films Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me and Lost Highway.

Leslie’s other projects include: Shy People, The End of Violence, Hi-Lo Country, Forces of Nature, Big Bad Love, Stealing Harvard, and Our Very Own.

Leslie has also worked on other TV projects and series including: Everybody Hates Chris, Raines, Hawthorne, and Rizzoli & Isles.

More recently, Leslie has worked as set decorator on the feature films, Killing Them Softly and Stoker.

Beth gained a BAFTA nomination for her work on An Englishman in New York starring John Hurt.  Beth designed It’s Kind of a Funny Story starring Zach Galifianakis and the box office hit Drive, starring Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan, that premiered in competition at Cannes.

Named as one of the Hollywood Reporter's "Production Designers To Watch," Beth has worked on a number of award-winning films including: Half Nelson, which won the Best Film prize at the Gotham Awards and Cold Souls, starring Paul Giamatti, David Strathairn, and Emily Watson, which was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance

Beth’s other projects include: Madness and Genius and Sugar which was also nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance, along with Night Catches Us, The Son of No One, and Arbitrage.  

Beth’s upcoming films include: 2 Guns, Thanks for Sharing, Only God Forgives, and How To Catch A Monster.

Pierre is a Canadian cinematographer who has won and been nominated for multiple awards for his work, including Genie and Jutra Awards

Pierre has worked on such films as: EldoradoLost and DeliriousThe Art of WarThe Covenant, The Rocket, and Polytechnique.

Pierre has also directed the television series Charlie Jade and TV movie The Last Casino.

Pierre has more recently worked on the comedy Starbuck, and the science fiction films, Upside Down, and The Colony.

Lol's first feature credit was on an American independent film for Lance Hammer on Ballast and also the feature, Better Things, which world-premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.

Lol also worked on the acclaimed satire Four Lions, the Armenian road movie romance Here, and the Alaskan thriller On the Ice. He also worked on the acclaimed BBC miniseries The Crimson Petal and the White.

Lol recently was the director of photography on the film Hyde Park on Hudson, a story about the love affair between FDR and his distant cousin Margaret "Daisy" Suckley, centered around the weekend in 1939 when the King and Queen of the United Kingdom visited upstate New York.

Lol has been working in South Africa as cinematographer on Mandela: The Long Walk to Freedom, a biopic about Nelson Mandela.

Adam transitioned from director-cameraman to cinematographer after working in the TV commercial genre.  In 1993, Adam photographed his first feature film, Ted Demme's first feature film, Who's the Man?

Adam has worked on an eclectic list of projects including: The Ref, Beautiful Girls, Monument Ave., Jesus' Son, and Chrystal. The artful imagery he created for Bennett Miller's film, Capote, earned him an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Cinematography.

Adam more recently shot the acclaimed films, Lars and the Real Girl, Rudo y Cursi, and Never Let Me Go, which was also nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Cinematography, while continuing his work with award winning directors on commercial projects.

Daniel Kamil and Emily Steffian have owned and operated the the Cable Car Cinema and Café in Providence, Rhode Island since 2008.  Previously, they started The Revival House Cinema and Cafe, a fifty-seat digital theater in Westerly Rhode Island that helped reinvigorate an under utilized downtown. 

Daniel and Emily spoke with us about the about the current state of the independent cinema business based on their own experiences over the years.

In March 2013, the Cable Car launched a Kickstarter Campaign to assist them in the transition to digital projection, which all independent cinemas are required to do to stay in operation.

Christopher took his first job as a cutter in his own right for Whit Stillman's film Metropolitan in 1990, and also worked on Whit’sfilm Barcelona.
