Levi Abrino was raised with on a dairy farm in Western Pennsylvania. Leaving the farm for Penn State University, he earned degrees in Geography and Filmmaking. Levi is a graduate of New York University's MFA film program. His short films have screened and won awards at numerous festivals including Slamdance, Clermont-Ferrand, and Milan, and at the IFC Center in New York. Levi's thesis film Little Horses, co-written with Luke Matheny, is about a Dave, a divorced small-town postal worker that tries to win his family back by getting his son a pony for his 8th birthday, which has screened in film festivals worldwide. Levi also edited, Luke Matheny’s Oscar winning short film, God of Love, about a lovestruck, lounge-singing darts champion that finds his prayers are answered when he mysteriously receives a box of love-inducing darts. Levi also spends his time working as an editor and script supervisor and working on upcoming feature film scripts. |
