Sarah Wickliffe was born in New York and raised in New Jersey, the
only child of jazz vocalist Roseanna Vitro and record
producer/engineer, Paul Wickliffe. She has completed three short
animated films; the last of which, Arts Desire, is a 4 minute
animation about a character from a Picasso painting in search of a
better environment, created with a mix of traditional hand drawn
animation, 3d, and After Effects. Arts Desire has won a number of
honors including NYU animation’s Richard Protovin Award as well as
the Gold Student Academy Award in Animation for 2007, and as a
nominee for the Thousand Words Award at the 2007 MergingArts Short
Short Story Film Festival.
