Jennifer's award-winning debut feature film
Half-Life premiered in 2008 at Sundance and Tokyo International, screened at
SXSW, and was
distributed by the Sundance Channel.
Some of Jennifer's other projects include directing and
editing the music video Glass Butterfly, and editing and producing
the Sundance Short Crazy Beats Strong Every Time.
Jennifer won the inaugural San Francisco Film Society Women’s Filmmaker
Fellowship, and serves as a filmmaking mentor for President
Obama’s Call to Arts Pledge.
Jennifer's recent feature Advantageous won a Jury Prize at Sundance 2015 and it was based on her award
winning 2012 short of the same name.
Advantageous takes place in a near-future city
where soaring opulence overshadows economic hardship where a mother
and daughter do all they can to hold on to their joy together,
despite the instability surfacing in their world.
