Luke spent his early days in feature film
assisting legendary editor Jill
Bilcock on Moulin Rouge.
Luke has previously shot and edited
previsualisation on Baz Luhrman's Australia
and George Lucas' Star Wars:
Episode III.
Luke has also directed films, including the short
film Miracle Fish, which garnered him an Oscar nomination for
best short film. Some other projects include the short Cryo and the upcoming Out of
State.
Luke is a member of the Australian production
company Blue
Tongue Films with Nash and Joel
Edgerton among others.
Luke's feature films as editor include The
Square and Animal Kingdom, for which he won the AFI best editing
award.
Luke recently edited Joel Edgerton's acclaimed film The Gift, about a married couple whose lives are up-ended by an acquaintance from the past forced into their lives.
