Tarik Saleh is the co-founder of Atmo, a Film and TV production company in Stockholm, Sweden.
Tarik started his career as a graffiti artist as a member of the internationally acclaimed All In One crew. His murals can still be spotted in suburbs west of Stockholm. In Sweden, Tarik is also well known as a TV-host, director and debater.
In 2001, he co-directed Sacrificio – Who Betrayed Che Guevara?. He has directed several other award-winning creative documentaries including Gitmo – The New Rules of War, about the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base with additional visits to Washington, Stockholm, Bucharest, and Abu Ghraib, along with co-director Erik Gandini.
Tarik’s passion for animation drove him to form Atmo Animation.
The Atmo Animation group has written and produced over 30 short animation films and his 1st animated feature Metropia, about is running out of oil and the undergrounds have been connected into a gigantic subway network beneath Europe. Its voice cast includes: Vincent Gallo, Juliette Lewis, Udo Kier, Stellan Skarsgård, and Alexander Skarsgård.
