Tomas earned a Master's Degree with Honors from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and his portfolio includes: television shows, theater, and advertising, along with over twenty feature films.

Besides work in film, Tomas has composed extensively for concert performance, with his compositions premiering in countries around the world, including: France, Poland, Japan, and the US.

Tomas' film scoring work includes: Gueros, Museo, The Good Girls, Things We Dare Not Do, Tell Me When, Killing Cabos 2, Northern Skies Over Empty Space, Jezabel, Poor Rich Family, and The (Almost) Legends.
