In 1997, Doug worked as an assistant editor on the film
Clockwatchers, with lead editor, Stephen
Mirrione.
Eventually, they collaborated as co-editors on the
2006 Oscar nominated and ACE
Eddie award winning film, Babel.

More recently Doug worked on: Spring
Breakers, Decoding Annie Parker, Cesar
Chavez, and the critically acclaimed, Birdman.
