Born in Kyoto and currently based in New York City, Keiko is an award-winning editor of over 50 feature
narrative films and documentary films. Being versed in both fiction
and documentary, she brings her sense of narrative structure to
documentary films and her creative use of footage to narrative
films.
Keiko was nominated for an Film Independent Spirit Award for her editing
work on We The Animals, and co-edited Ainu Mosir.
Other narratives Keiko edited include: Steven Shainberg's Fur: An Imaginary Portrait Of Diane Arbus, Dina Amer's You Resemble Me, and more recently, Jeremiah Zagar's Hustle starring Adam Sandler.
