Margaux had opened and co-owned a combination
vintage store and art gallery in Portland, Oregon, where she began
using the vintage inventory as an impromptu prop-shop while
designing music videos. This led to a move to California in 2013 to
pursue Production Design and filmmaking.
Margaux built her skills as a department head while
working on commercials, as well in the music video and film
worlds.
Margaux's narrative work includes Kristen Stewart's 2017 short film Come Swim, Pete Lee's Don't Be A Hero in 2018, and Alex Pettyfer's 2018 feature film, Back Roads.
Her most recent feature, Chinonye Chukwu's Clemency, won the US Dramatic Grand Jury Prize at
this year's Sundance Film Festival.
