Roque Banos received a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture to study at the prestigious
Berklee College of Music where he discovered his path
as a conductor and composer for many award winning Spanish
films.
Roque has been featured in many soundtracks for films,
and has been nominated for prestigious Goya Awards
and CEC Awards, on historical epics like Alatriste and for best original song on Carlos
Saura’s film, Salome.
Rogue has composed several scores for Álex de la Iglesia including on 800 Bullets and The Oxford Murders. He has also won awards for music on The 13 Roses, and on collaborations with director Daniel Monzon on films including The Kovak Box and Cell 211.
