Tom Quinn - Director/Writer - The New Year Parade

Tom Quinn grew up in Bucks County, PA, where he directed a few shorts and freelanced as a camera assistant.

His debut feature, The New Year Parade, was selected for the IFP Narrative Rough Cut Labs, won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Narrative at Slamdance, and was a Gotham Award nominee for “Best Film Not Playing in a Theater Near You.”

The New Year Parade follows Jack and Kat over the course of a year as their parents separate, struggle with their decisions, and eventually divorce.  The New Year Parade is set against the backdrop of Philadelphia’s Mummery, one of the oldest American folk traditions.  The New Year Parade is now available worldwide on DVD.

Tom has been listed one of the “25 New Faces of Independent Film” byFilmmaker Magazine and “Ten Young Writer-Directors to Watch,” by MovieMaker Magazine and was also a John Cassavetes Award Nominee at the Independent Spirit Awards.

Tom also works as a visual effects coordinator and producer at DIVE in Philadelphia.

Chad Hartigan - Director and Writer - Luke And Brie Are On A First Date and This Is Martin Bonner (Independent Spirit Award nominee now on DVD)

Since graduating North Carolina School of the ArtsChad has pursued all aspects of film.

Chad was actor in the award winning feature Dance Party USA, he co-wrote an animated short nominated for the Student Academy Award, and he as behind-the-scenes videographer for David Arquette’s directorial debut, The Tripper, along with making short films, like Surprise.

Chad wrote and directed his first feature, Luke And Brie Are On A First Datewhich played at festivals across the globe including Hamptons International Film Festival and Mar Del Plata International Film Festival in Argentina.

Chad’s second feature, This Is Martin Bonner, shot on location in Reno, NV, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and has also toured extensivelyat other film festivals, is a warm and perceptive meditation on friendship, human connection and getting a second chance at life.

This Is Martin Bonner is now on  DVD and Chad has been nonimated for the John Cassavetes Award for the Independent Spirit Awards for his work on the film.

William Arnold - Production Designer - Magnolia, Punch-Drunk Love, In Good Company, Shopgirl, American Dreamz, Last Holiday, Little Fockers, Crazy, Stupid, Love., and Lovelace

William moved through the ranks in the art department prior to being a Production Designer starting with work as a Set Designer to Art Director work and then Supervising Art Director on projects like Pleasantville and Snow Falling on Cedars.

William's Production Designer credits over the years include: Magnolia, Punch-Drunk Love, In Good Company, Shopgirl, Last Holiday, American Dreamz, Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant, and Little Fockers.

William's more recent Production projects include: Crazy, Stupid, Love., American Reunion, and Lovelace, the story of Linda Lovelace, who is used and abused by the porn industry at the behest of her coercive husband, before taking control of her life.

Patrice Vermette - Canadian Production Designer - C.R.A.Z.Y., The Young Victoria, 1981, City of Shadows, Cafe De Flore, Prisoners, and the upcoming Enemy

Patrice has won three awards for his work on C.R.A.Z.Y., including the Genie Award for Best Achievement in Art Direction/Production Design and a Jutra Award for Best Art Direction. 

Patrice's other work includes: 1981, City of Shadows, La Banda Picasso, Café de Flore, and The Young Victoria

Patrice was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Art Direction for his work in the film The Young Victoria.

Patrice's recent projects include: Denis Villeneuve’s film Prisoners and the upcoming features Enemy and 1987.

Magnus Joenck - Danish Cinematographer - AFR, The Experiment, R, A Hijacking, and Northwest

Magnus graduated as Cinematographer from the National Film School of Denmark in 2005.

Magnus has filmed a number of feature and documentary films, including the documentaries, Solange on Love and Tankograd, and the narrative features, AFR, The Experiment, Empire North, and Out of Bounds, and the television series, The Killing, Those Who Kill, and Borgen.

Magnus has worked with on project for Tobias Lindholm and Michael Noer on the film, R, long with their recent features, A Hijacking, and Northwest.

Lars Skree - Danish Director of Photography - One Hand Clapping, Max Pinlig, The Swenkas, Armadillo, and Putin's Kiss

Lars graduated as Director of Photography from the National Film School of Denmark in 1997.

Lars has filmed a number of feature and documentary films, including One Hand Clapping, the documentary, The Swenkas, and the Max Pinlig series of films.

Lars has received awards for his cinematography on documentaries, including News & Documentary Emmy Awards and the Bodil Award for Armadillo and he won Best World Cinema Cinematography Award winning in Sundance for Putin's Kiss.

Lars, putting his life on the line while filming the war drama Armadillo in Afghanistan, received the Roos Award for this and also did some work in Indonesia on The Act of Killing.

Rob Simonsen - Film Composer - Moneyball and Life of Pi with Mychael Danna, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, Girl Most Likely, The Spectacular Now and The Way, Way Back

Rob's first break into film composing was through the independent feature Westender in 2003 along followed by the Canadian award winning Eve and the Fire Horse.

In 2004, Rob teamed up with Mychael Danna and has provided additional music and arrangements on Surf's Up, Fracture, Moneyball and the Oscar-winning Life of Pi.

The two have co-composed the film (500) Days of Summer, and the television series, Dollhouse and Blue Bloods.

Rob's more recent work includes the films: Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, Girl Most Likely, and the Sundance Film Festival features The Spectacular Now and The Way, Way Back.

Lol Crawley - British Director of Photography - Ballast, Four Lions, Here, On The Ice, Hyde Park on Hudson, and Mandela: The Long Walk to Freedom

Lol's first feature credit was on an American independent film for Lance Hammeron Ballast and also the feature, Better Things, which world-premiered at theCannes Film Festival.

Lol also worked on the acclaimed satire Four Lions, the Armenian road movie romance Here, and the Alaskan thriller On the Ice. He also worked on the acclaimed BBC miniseries The Crimson Petal and the White.

Lol recently was the director of photography on the film Hyde Park on Hudson, a story about the love affair between FDR and his distant cousin Margaret "Daisy" Suckley, centered around the weekend in 1939 when the King and Queen of the United Kingdom visited upstate New York.

Lol's most recent work has been in South Africa as the director of photography on the acclaimed biopic, Mandela: The Long Walk to Freedom, about Nelson Mandela's life.

Beth Mickle - Production Designer - Half Nelson, Sugar, Cold Souls, An Englishman in New York, Drive, It's A Kind of Funny Story, Arbitrage, Thanks for Sharing, How to Catch A Monster, and Only God Forgives (Now on DVD)

Beth gained a BAFTA nomination for her work on An Englishman in New Yorkstarring John HurtBeth designed It’s Kind of a Funny Story starring Zach Galifianakis and the box office hit Drive, starring Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan, that premiered in competition at Cannes.

Named as one of the Hollywood Reporter's "Production Designers To Watch," Beth has worked on a number of award-winning films including: Half Nelson, which won the Best Film prize at the Gotham Awards and Cold Souls, starring Paul GiamattiDavid Strathairn, and Emily Watson, which was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance

Beth’s other projects include: Madness and Genius and Sugar which was also nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance, along with Night Catches Us,The Son of No One, and Arbitrage.  

Only God Forgives, her latest collaboration with Nicolas Winding Refn and Ryan Gosling, is now on DVD.

Beth’s upcoming films include: 2 GunsThanks for Sharing, and How To Catch A Monster, a directorial debut by Ryan Gosling.

Marcelo Zarvos - Brazilian Pianist & Composer - Kissing Jessica Stein, The Good Shepherd, Sin Nombre, Please Give, The Beaver, The Bay, Won't Back Down, Enough Said

Marcelo has written for virtually every medium, from film and television to concert stage, dance, and theater.

Marcelo  started his classical music studies as a teenager in São Paulo, Brazil, and studied at Berklee College of Music and California Institute of the Arts, where he received his BFA, and Hunter College where received a Master's Degree in Music.

Marcelo’s work includes composing for ballet in Brazil, recording several albums including Music Journal, and even conducting appearances with the Tokyo Symphony Chamber Orchestra.

Marcelo started in film composition with the short film A Soccer Story, which was nominated for an Oscar and for which Marcelo won an award for score at the Brazilia Festival of Brazilian Cinema.

Marcelo’s feature film work includes: Kissing Jessica Stein, The Door in the Floor, The Architect, Hollywoodland, The Good ShepherdSin Nombre, Please Give, and The Beaver.

Marcelo  has also worked in television, including the series The Big C and Ray Donovan, and has two Emmy nominations for his TV movie work on You Don't Know Jack and Taking Chance.

Marcelo’s more recent film projects include: The Words, The Bay, Won’t Back Down, and Enough Said.
