Marcelo Zarvos - Brazilian Pianist & Composer - Kissing Jessica Stein, The Good Shepherd, Sin Nombre, Please Give, The Beaver, The Bay, Won't Back Down, Enough Said

Marcelo has written for virtually every medium, from film and television to concert stage, dance, and theater.

Marcelo  started his classical music studies as a teenager in São Paulo, Brazil, and studied at Berklee College of Music and California Institute of the Arts, where he received his BFA, and Hunter College where received a Master's Degree in Music.

Marcelo’s work includes composing for ballet in Brazil, recording several albums including Music Journal, and even conducting appearances with the Tokyo Symphony Chamber Orchestra.

Marcelo started in film composition with the short film A Soccer Story, which was nominated for an Oscar and for which Marcelo won an award for score at the Brazilia Festival of Brazilian Cinema.

Marcelo’s feature film work includes: Kissing Jessica Stein, The Door in the Floor, The Architect, Hollywoodland, The Good ShepherdSin Nombre, Please Give, and The Beaver.

Marcelo  has also worked in television, including the series The Big C and Ray Donovan, and has two Emmy nominations for his TV movie work on You Don't Know Jack and Taking Chance.

Marcelo’s more recent film projects include: The Words, The Bay, Won’t Back Down, and Enough Said.

Abel Korzeniowski - Film Composer - Big Animal, Metropolis, PU-239, A Single Man, W.E., Romeo and Juliet, Escape From Tomorrow

Born in Krakow, Poland, Abel studied classical composition under Krzysztof Penderecki. In 2006, he moved to Los Angeles, where he currently resides.

Abel's scores have received tremendous critical enthusiasm and numerous awards, most notably two Golden Globe nominations, and three World Soundtrack Awards. His lush, stirring, highly original music for Tom Ford's feature A Single Man, starring Colin Firth and Julianne Moore, was greeted with immediate acclaim.

The score caught the attention of Madonna, who invited him to create music for her feature film W.E.. Stylish and bittersweet, W.E.'s score which reflects the glamorous romance between Wallis Simpson and The Duke of Windsor.

Abel has also scored: Big Animal. a monumental 147-minute composition for an 90-piece orchestra, 60 choir and 2 solo voices for Metropolis, An Angel in Cracow, PU-239, and the animated Battle of Terra.

Recent projects include: the surreal and twisted black comedy Escape From Tomorrow, Romeo and Juliet, and Patricia Kaas' tribute to Edith Piaf, Kaas Chante Piaf.

Mike Munn - Canadian Fillm Editor - Roadkill, Owning Mahowny, Past Perfect, Wilby Wonderful, Rush: Beyond The Lighted Stage, Stories We Tell

Mike has worked with several notable Canadian independent film directors, including Bruce McDonald on the film Roadkill, Daniel MacIvor on Past Perfect and Wilby Wonderful, and Peter Mettler on Tectonic Plates and Picture of Light.

Mike has also worked on several rock documentaries with Sam Dunn, including Metal: A Headbanger's Journey, Iron Maiden: Flight 666, and the award-winning Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage.

Mike’s other diverse editing projects include the film Owning Mahowny with Philip Seymour Hoffman, Mad Ship with Gil Bellows, as well as work on several television documentaries and fiction pieces.

Mike’s most recent project was editing actress and director/writer Sarah Polley’s documentary Stories We Tell, in which she strives to uncover some uncomfortable truths about her family history.

Darrin Navarro - Film Editor - Bug, Momma's Man, Terri, Killer Joe, and The Spectacular Now

Darrin's decade-long relationship with William Friedkin evolved in 2005 when he edited his acclaimed psychological thriller, Bug

Since then, Darrin has escaped the confines of genre and storytelling styles, bringing his rigorous eye and narrative sense to Azazel Jacobs' offbeat comedies, Momma'S Man and Terri, Paul Solet's dramatic horror film, Grace, and Alison Bagnall's The Dish & The Spoon, starring Greta Gerwig, and the music documentary Re:Generation, directed by Amir Bar-Lev

Darrin reunited with William Friedkin for Killer Joe, starring Matthew McConaughey, Emile Hirsch, and Juno Temple

More recently, Darrin edited James Ponsoldt's The Spectacular Now, starring Miles Teller and Shailene Woodley, about hard-partying high school senior's philosophy on life changes when he meets the not-so-typical "nice girl."

Tyler B. Robinson - Production Designer - The River Why, The FP, Portlandia, and The Kings of Summer

Tyler adapts and applies 3 years of honorable Army service as a squad leader and weapons specialist to all of his projects. 

As the Production Designer of IFC's series Portlandia, Tyler moves fast, thinking on his feet and creates sets and props on the fly. In a television show that at its heart is an improv sketch show, Tyler constantly solves on-the-fly requests as fast as they come in.

Tyler has worked on music videos as art director for bands including: Bloc Party, The Dandy Warhols, The Decemberists, and The Shins, and been the production designer the series, The Guild.

Tyler has woirked on feature films including: The River Why, The FP, and more recently, The Kings of Summer, about three teenage friends, in the ultimate act of independence, decide to spend their summer building a house in the woods and living off the land.
